About this property
Located in the premier, well-established gated community of Keauhou Estates, this large, exceptional lot overlooks Kahalu`u Beach and the Kona Coast. The neighborhood features a secure, gated entrance with round-the-clock security, ensuring privacy and peace of mind. This 26,229-square-foot lot is the largest available in Keauhou Estates, where most lots are 15,000 square feet. Its elevated, sloping topography ensures expansive, unobstructed ocean and sunset views across the Kona Coast. The lot includes a complete set of plans and drawing for a spectacular 3,300-square-foot, 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath residence designed by a protégé of renowned island architect Lucky Bennett. The planned home, Hale La‘i (“quiet refuge”), features three ensuite bedrooms with an additional guest bath upstairs. Downstairs, enjoy a spacious 1,000-square-foot lānai and swim-up pool, the perfect oasis for island-style living. This level also features an expansive flex suite, ideal as a private home gym or fourth bedroom, along with a fourth bathroom and dedicated private office. Retractable doors from both spaces open directly to the pool area, offering seamless indoor–outdoor living. Above the oversized two-car garage, a private guest suite with its own bathroom and lānai provides comfort and privacy for visitors. The landscape plans are also included. Keauhou Estates offers a prime location just moments from Keauhou Shopping Center, providing convenient access to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, golf, beaches, medical services, and a movie theater. This is a rare opportunity to build a custom home, on an expansive ocean-view lot in one of Kona’s most desirable gated communities.
