About this property
Rarely does an opportunity of this scale become available along Hawaiʻi Island’s Hāmākua Coast. Encompassing approximately 470 acres above Papaikou, this exceptional fee simple property offers tremendous versatility, extraordinary privacy, and sweeping ocean and mountain views. The property is predominantly open pastureland and is currently fenced with multiple paddocks throughout, making it well suited for ranching, grazing, diversified agriculture, or the establishment of a substantial agricultural operation. Adding to the character of the property are two active streams that run along major boundaries of the land. Along their course are multiple waterfalls and natural pools, creating a landscape that feels distinctly Hawaiian and setting this property apart from more typical large acreage offerings. Beyond its agricultural potential, the sheer scale and natural beauty of the property open the door to a much broader vision. It could serve as a private ranch or estate, conservation oriented holding, family legacy property, agricultural enterprise, or long term investment in Hawaiʻi land. From its elevated setting above Papaikou, the property captures impressive views across the surrounding countryside and toward the Pacific while remaining within convenient reach of Hilo. Nearly 470 contiguous acres with pasture, streams, waterfalls, natural pools, privacy, and tremendous views. For buyers seeking a significant landholding on Hawaiʻi Island, this is a truly uncommon opportunity. Information herein deemed reliable but not guaranteed.
