About this property
Set among the ʻōhiʻa forest in one of Volcano’s most desirable residential neighborhoods, this thoughtfully designed 2-bedroom, 2-bath home captures what makes living in Volcano so distinctive: privacy, cooler temperatures, lush surroundings, and a home that feels connected to its setting. Inside, an open living and dining area creates an easy, comfortable flow, while bamboo hardwood flooring brings warmth and character throughout much of the home. Shoji pocket doors open to a flexible sunroom that can function as a den, office, creative space, or additional sleeping area. The kitchen is both attractive and highly functional, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas range, soft-close drawers, pantry storage, turnstile cabinetry, pendant lighting, and a picture window above the sink looking out to the surrounding greenery. The home's layout places the two bedrooms at opposite ends, creating natural separation and privacy. The primary bedroom includes its own ensuite bath, while the guest bedroom features corner windows and designer blinds. A dedicated laundry room with exterior access adds another practical element to the floor plan. Outside, the surrounding ʻōhiʻa forest creates the sense of having your own private Volcano retreat, while still being just minutes from Volcano Village, Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, golf, dining, art galleries, and some of the island’s most remarkable natural landscapes. Zoned RS-10 residential, an important distinction in an area where many properties are agriculturally zoned, this home offers a compelling combination of location, thoughtful design, privacy, and versatility. Whether enjoyed as a full-time residence or a Volcano getaway, this is a home that feels distinctly at home in its surroundings.
