About this property
Just one block from the Pacific Ocean near desirable Makuu Point, this partially cleared lot offers the chance to enjoy the peaceful coastal lifestyle only found along Beach Rd in Hawaiian Paradise Park. Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves, enjoy fresh ocean breezes throughout the day, and experience the natural beauty of ocean-close living on the Big Island. A short walk to the shoreline gives you access to fishing, seasonal whale watching, coastal hiking, and breathtaking sunrise views over the Pacific. The natural beauty and slower pace of life in this area create the true feeling of “Old Hawaiʻi.” Situated on a quiet dead-end street, this property offers privacy, minimal traffic, and a serene setting surrounded by quality homes and larger parcels. Located just two lots away from a rare 104-acre parcel, this section of Makuu Point has significantly fewer lots than nearby Kaloli Point, giving the neighborhood a more spacious, rural, and exclusive feel. Conveniently located between Hilo, Keaʻau, and Pahoa, with nearby access to Makuu Market, Kaleo’s Bar & Grill, and the Puna Kai Shopping Center for dining, shopping, groceries, fitness, and everyday essentials. Whether you are looking to build a full-time residence, tropical getaway, or long-term investment property, this lot offers a rare opportunity to own near the ocean in one of the Big Island’s most sought-after coastal communities. Property features: • Just one block from the Pacific Ocean • Near Makuu Point coastal area • Quiet dead-end street with added privacy • Two lots away from a 104-acre parcel • More spacious and rural feel than nearby Kaloli Point • Partially cleared and ready for future development • Possible well potential (buyer to investigate) • Tropical trade winds and ocean sounds from the property • Nice homes in surrounding area • Lava Zone 3 • HELCO electric approximately one pole away (buyer to confirm)
