About this property
The largest and most private homesite in the subdivision — 1.684 acres on the Hamakua Coast with ocean views, county water, and producing lychee trees. This is the biggest lot of the five available and the most secluded, set back off Chin Chuck Road. It sits at roughly 900–1,000 feet elevation in Hakalau, the sweet spot for Hamakua living: cooler nights, great airflow, deep fertile soil, and some of the best growing conditions on the island, all about 25 minutes to major shopping. Prime small lots like this almost never come to market here — and when people look for the best land on the Hamakua Coast, Chin Chuck Road is often at the top of the list. This is one of five small-acreage lots now available in a brand-new subdivision — Lots A, B, C, D and F — most of which sit right next to each other. Multiple parcels this size side by side in this section of the Hamakua is something you just don't see. If you have family or friends who want to build nearby, this is your chance to put together a family compound or have people you trust close by. Buying more than one? The seller is open to discounted bulk purchases. County water available — buyer just needs to install a meter. Power poles are one lot away. Most borders are fenced with existing wire fencing, and there are healthy, producing lychee trees on the land, full of fruit right now. The subdivision is bordered by mostly larger acreage lots including a 792-acre Ranch to the north. Very quiet, very private, with great neighbors and a real sense of community. One of the best farmer's markets on the Hamakua Coast runs every Tuesday at the bottom of Chin Chuck Road. Ocean access nearby at Kolekole Beach Park (newly renovated) and Hakalau Beach Park (when it reopens). CC&R's are noninvasive and primarily cover view protection and road maintenance. Once these lots are gone, it could be a long time (if ever) before anything comparable comes up on Chin Chuck Road.
